How do retail clients fund their Jiko accounts?

Retail clients can add funds by visiting the ‘Move Money’ tab in the Jiko app and creating an ACH Portal. Once an ACH Portal is created, a dedicated account number and routing number will be made available to initiate a transfer.

Connect a financial institution:

Account and routing numbers associated with an ACH Portal can be used at an external financial institution to initiate a transfer.

Set up direct deposit: 

By providing the account and routing number associated with an ACH Portal to an employer, direct deposits can be set up.

Note: If a financial institution requests the type of account associated with the Portal account number, please indicate that it’s a checking account.
