Can funds be accessed before T-bills mature?

Yes. Unlike a term deposit or a traditional T-bill purchase, funds in Jiko Pockets are never locked up until maturity. Clients can initiate an ACH transfer, wire, or JikoNet transfer directly from their T-bill portfolio at any time.

When a withdrawal or payment is initiated, Jiko’s platform programmatically liquidates only the T-bill(s) closest to maturity, just enough to cover the transaction, and moves that cash onto Jiko Bank’s payment rails instantly. Every other dollar in the Pocket stays fully invested in T-bills and continues earning yield, uninterrupted. Clients never have to choose between staying invested and having access to their cash.
